Appliances for your handleless kitchen.
The cost of appliances vary widely between makes and specifications of the product.
We feel the list below covers most budgets.
Bosch - NEFF - Siemens - Miele - Gaggenau are all owned and distributed from the same owner BSH Group ltd.
Neff and Bosch are both very similar in quality and features, although NEFF hold the patent for the slide and hide door on the oven which continues to prove very popular.
Siemens is the premium brand in these 3.
Please note: Depending on the functionality of each product, will determine the usability and cost.
You could purchase a basic Siemens oven way more economically than an all singing and dancing NEFF oven with added steam, 14 different cook settings and pyrolytic cleaning.
The key is to purchase the oven and appliance which suites your cooking style.
Miele - very much the upper end of the market. Excellent build quality.
Gaggenau - Undoubtedly in a league of their own. Quality and styling setting the bench mark for all appliances.
Style wise, you can tell a Gaggenau appliance a mile off. They have been ahead of the curve in design for the last 20 years. Even an oven that old would not look out of place in a contemporary kitchen today!
Price wise - they are also in a league of their own.
Below are some examples of the average appliance purchase.

Combi microwave
Plate warmer
Larder fridge / freezer
Induction hob
Extractor

NEFF basic range from £2,800 (most economical in every category)

In hob downdraft extractors are fast becoming the induction hob of choice.
There are several makes and options available.
By far the most effective version is the NOVY Panorama pro downdraft pop up extractor.
It is THE ONLY induction hob to include a 'pop up' extractor.
This allows to extractor to:
Work far more efficiently as the point of extraction is closer to the top of the pan
Quieter
Protects guests form spitting hot oil while cooking if sat near the cooking area on an island
Multi use flexi zone cooking (can use 2 zones as 1 if using a large griddle pan)
One of the best carbon filter boxes on the market for recirculating. Most of the other appliance brands just vent through a gap in the plinth. NOVY run through a feature carbon filter which can be positioned either at the front or rear of an island. This means that any moisture is safely extracted away from your cabinets, ensuring you won't get any issues with moisture ingress within the cabinets.
Can be ducted out too.
Flush or surface mounted.
The ONLY in hob downdraft extractor where you can still use the top drawer of the cabinet (the duct drops behind the drawers)
Depending how the hob is mounted you can still have full depth drawers below directly under the hob.
Adjustable heights (low for frying, tall for boiling tall pans of water)
Winner of the prestigious RED DOT award for innovation.
